Blog-o-mania!

Wow! It's so exciting to finally enter the "blogosphere". I hope to use this blog as a way to share the exciting vision of Sycamore Ridge Community Church in Brookville, Ohio.

The "Ridge", as we call our church, started just over 8 years ago meeting in a high school. Now we are in a brand new 12,000 square foot building (built by volunteers) and attendance has gone through the roof! We have an attendance of about 300 people in 2 services now.

Our goal at the Ridge is "to meet people where they are and help them to get where God wants them to be". We call ourselves a "different kind of church"...and a lot of that stems from our methods of trying to reach people for Christ. I'll be talking more about that in coming days.
